Can we swim at all the waterfalls?

You can wade in the water at all of them, but Tibumana is the best and safest for actual swimming. Tukad Cepung is more for wading through the shallow cave, and Kanto Lampo is for climbing on the lower rocks and letting the water splash over you.

Why aren't entrance tickets included in the price?

We use a "Pay As You Go" model for entrance tickets to give you ultimate flexibility. If you get tired after two waterfalls and want to skip the third, you haven't wasted any money on pre-bought tickets! It keeps the base price of your private tour very low.

Is this tour safe for young children or the elderly?

Because of the steep, often wet stone stairs (over 100 steps per waterfall) and the need to walk through moving river water, we do not recommend this specific tour for toddlers, the elderly, or anyone with knee/back mobility issues. Do I need a waterproof camera?

While a GoPro is great, your standard smartphone will work perfectly. We highly recommend buying a cheap, clear waterproof phone pouch on a lanyard before your trip. Your driver will carefully hold your phone to take pictures of you from the dry spots!

Private Hotel Pickup

Your friendly driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. Relax in our clean, air-conditioned vehicle as we drive out of the city and into the lush green highlands of Gianyar.

09:30 AM :

Tukad Cepung (The Cave Waterfall)

We start here to catch the magical morning light! We will walk down a set of jungle stairs and wade through a shallow, narrow river canyon. Suddenly, the canyon opens up into a hidden cave where a spectacular waterfall crashes down from above. When the morning sun shines through the canopy, it creates breathtaking rays of light.

11:30 AM :

Tibumana Waterfall

Next, we take a short drive to Tibumana. The walk down is beautiful, passing through blooming flowers and bamboo bridges. This waterfall is a powerful, elegant stream dropping into a wide, deep pool. It is incredibly peaceful and the absolute best spot of the day to take a refreshing swim.

01:00 PM :

Lunch with a View

After swimming, you will definitely have an appetite! Your driver will take you to a fantastic local Warung (restaurant) overlooking the rice paddies or river valley where you can enjoy authentic Balinese food or western dishes. (Lunch cost is not included, giving you the freedom to order what you crave!).

02:30 PM :

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Our final waterfall is entirely unique. Instead of a single drop, Kanto Lampo features water cascading down a wide wall of stepped, black rocks. You can wade into the waist-deep water and climb directly onto the flat rocks for an iconic, immersive photograph!

04:00 PM :

Coffee Tasting & Return

Before heading back, you have the option to stop at a local plantation to see how traditional Balinese coffee and spices are grown, and enjoy a tasting flight of local teas. Afterward, your driver will safely return you to your hotel.
